Halloween Scares

Typically I’ve been writing and posting on Sundays.  In an attempt to clear any misconceptions before they arise, I needed to write this now.

Let it be known I DO NOT APPROVE OF THIS LIST, this “100 Totally Amazing Hipster Baby Names” list.  You know why?  Because guess what the #1 girl’s name is?

Ok, so it’s not exactly spelled the same but it’s dangerously close. Just like when we got dangerously close to Crew player Tony Tchani the other night.  It wasn’t Halloween but he was all hipstered out and it almost rubbed off on us.  Although I managed to actually clip my tie bar to my shirt (which is the whole freaking point of a tie bar, isn’t it?!).  Pundits are already saying Tony will have plenty of offseason to learn how to wear a tie bar…

I had to double check mine just to make sure we weren’t tie bar faux pas twinsies.

And in other news, pumpkin carving went a bit better this year than last — mainly because nobody was thrust into a pumpkin. Blaire didn’t have much interest in the “guts.”  In fact, she repeatedly tried to put them back into the pumpkin.  Eventually she just got bored eating the raw seeds and went off to read.

Maybe we should get a little more lax on the whole put things back where you found them rule…
